However, if you're happy playing on your phone and don't mind the small screen, you might not need to bother with playing on PC. Personally, I recommend playing on PC if you have a computer that can handle it - the bigger screen and better controls make a big difference.
The graphics settings are the one part that took real trial and error. There is no single correct answer — you nudge a setting, play a round, and decide whether the frame rate was worth the detail you gained. Once that is settled it stays settled.

PUBG Mobile identifies emulator clients and runs them in their own matchmaking pool, so you will be playing against other mouse-and-keyboard players rather than against phone users. That is the right call from the publisher and it makes for better games — but it also means longer queues in quieter regions, and it means the rules are theirs to change.
